T-Bar Cichlids are striking freshwater fish known for their distinctive T-shaped black markings on a vibrant yellow or gold body. Hardy and moderately aggressive, they thrive in well-established tanks with plenty of hiding spaces and rocky structures. Best kept singly or in pairs, these cichlids prefer warm water (75–80°F) and benefit from a spacious aquarium of at least 55 gallons.
